How Do You Find Foods for the Golden Spatula Challenge?

How do we find the foods required for the challenge?

I think we should be able to click the icon to take us there or list the levels the foods are on. Challenge cannot be played completely.

hi there, i am an admin from 'cooking tale friends group' and this question has been popping up alot recently ... alot of players in our group are trying to help each other in suggesting the whereabouts  they have seen a particular customer , but so far they seem to be appearing randomly for each different player. For example , sleepy lucy may appear frequently in a certain level or 2 for a the odd few players, but not neccessarily at all for other players. what we have done is linked certain dishes required for the challenge to the customer needed=same levels. I hope this helps :)

2 people have this question

I agree wholeheartedly. It is quite taxing to try and remember not just where you encountered the dishes, but also, where the characters are as well. Hints, clues would be a good thing. Also, what are the golden spatulas for?

Since this question has been brought up many times before, I would think you would have come up with a solution....it is unfair for you to think that we would remember were everything was cooked....there definitely should be an easier way to find the food for the challenges as there are several levels within a kitchen setting....I would like this simplified in some way maybe a hint or a straight click through and NO this would not take away from this aspect of the game, but would actually make it more enjoyable....I am quite sure that you will come up with an easier way to complete the GOLDEN SPATULA game....or at least give us a hint...hope someone is still monitoring this site as I hat writing for nothing....

I have not been having any trouble locating the regular patrons, but the others, such as the Queen and the Magician and Sleepy Lucy can hold things up at times. I have become very familiar with Sleepy Lucy's whereabouts in the 70 levels.

The foods are not a problem for me at all, some rounds do have more of what you need, but it's been fine. I have actually started recording what goes on in each level in a notebook so I know exactly where to go for what.

The main problems are the glitch in the challenge itself. You complete the coin part of the challenge and then come back, and it says you still need thousands of coins.

I think it would be a good idea if each round only used 1 energy bar. As it stands it takes about 40 minutes to build 1 game play for 10 energies. The 40 minute wait would be fine if it meant I could play 10-40 times instead of 1.

My golden spatula challenge says I need nachos. I am on level 112 and I don't think I've seen any nachos yet!

Just as an after thought..maybe it would help players if they had a starting point from which level the customers first appeared from/available from  ? :)

Energy levels suck fun out of this game........Should be 80.  You just start having fun and your done. OR only take 5 not ten her game.  Its frustrating. With so many of the cooking speed games coming up One would hope you guys would try and not follow the rest of the crowd and start offering different options to earn better energy.   Maybe offer more challenges when you score higher than required get your ten energy back to attempt to score higher in the next round SOMETHING to stand out from other games.

ALSO the golden challenge I like BUT you need to point us in right direction. IF your going to insist on 50 energy I am NOT wasting them going back looking to find the people needing to be served. If you were not so stingy with energy I would not mind wasting one or two visits trying to figure out what level they are at.  I like this version and hope things start moving quicker and offer more than the rest of the kitchen games. Please post someplace or at least tell us between level one and two you will find so and do three and four so and so. It will be a huge help and save us precious energy we need to get anywhere with these challenges.

thank you

I see what you mean, Kendall, and yes, that was an intentional decision made by the developers, to add a degree of luck to the challenge. You can always follow fan groups for hints and tips about where to find each customer, and we will review whether or not it should be easier in the game, considering the rewards offered.

There are hints for the foods but none for the patrons. Current challenge includes Sleepy Lucy. If you go to the different levels you can see what foods you may be asked to cook but it does not show the patrons such as Sleepy Lucy.

Part of the challenge is to find the location of each dish on your own :) If you all think that this is too hard, we could release some kind of key so that you can find each dish easier. But wouldn't that kind of spoil the challenge? Let us know!

You can hunt for the food by the icon at each level but there does not appear to be any way to find the patron without playing the level. We should be able to click on the required items to see where to go to play or get some kind of hint.

do they expect us to go back and find them n our own?

emiCo I understand the concept, but HOW do we know what level to find the foods on and the characters.

We need to know where they are!!
